Kaaren is the President of the Canadian Chapter of the Branded Content Marketing Association and selected as a member of the Forbes Agency Council.

As an award-winning marketer, Dylen draws on 13+ year of experience in media and entertainment. Before joining Shaftesbury, Dylen served as Head of Entertainment and Content marketing at CBC, where she oversaw the marketing for CBC properties such as Schitt’s CreekKim’s ConvenienceAnne with an E and Baroness Von Sketch Show.  Dylen has been recognized for her work, in both Canada and the US, for developing audience-first content strategies and innovative storytelling to promote some of Canada’s top-rated series globally.

A veteran producer with over 18 years of experience in multiplatform content production, international co-production, and development. Jennifer has worked in Europe and North America, overseeing projects in both documentary and entertainment programming. Beginning her career in Paris at Marathon Media, part of Zodiak Kids and one of France’s largest animation producers, Jennifer held several positions, including Director of Post-Production and Creative, Producer. During her tenure, she played a key role developing the company’s overseas co-pro operations, helping to establish and manage two satellite studios in Montreal and Los Angeles.

Michelle Grys joined Shaftesbury in 2010 as part of the Corporate Finance team. Grys managed post-production accounting for TV series, features and digital series and, in 2013, and was named Manager, Production Accounting. In this role, Grys was responsible for overseeing accounting during prep stages for all new projects as well as during post-production to prepare for audit and filing of tax credits. As Corporate Controller, she supports overall company strategies and objectives.

Grant started her career as an editor at Random House Canada until 1999, when she joined CTV as a drama development executive. She has held similar positions at CBC and at independent production houses Barna-Alper, Shaftesbury, White Pine Pictures, and most recently at Temple Street where she was Supervising Producer on the one-hour drama X Company and the half-hour comedy Cavendish.
